The best party band you'll ever find.

Sarah Paye

During her childhood both grandmothers encouraged Sarah to sing – one formally at the piano, the other making a stage for her in the lounge bay windows, swishing open the pulley curtains to the opening bars of ABBA's Thank You For The Music!!. She was the girl with the long brown hair and very goofy gappy teeth and offers thanks to piano playing Grandma for those.

Said teeth made flute playing impossible as the air whistled through the gaps, and Sarah went through a rather frustrating year of lessons at which she did badly enduring comments from her Mother like "there's no such word as can't". With encouragement from her Uncle, she took up the clarinet instead and the teeth came in very useful at holding the mouthpiece in!!

Sarah continued to sing at every opportunity in choirs/vocal harmony groups/musicals/shows etc.

A funny story says that her orthodontic work was taking ages because she couldn't sing with her brace plate in so she would take it out for performances, wrap it in a hanky and then lose it. After the 6th time, her dentsist installed train track metal braces saying "hah, try and get these out". Her teeth are now lovely and straight.

Sarah is ALWAYS singing and it is a bit of a joke amongst her friends that she knows the words to EVERY eighties song. She has been in many bands over the years, including a dubiously named band called Hit The Biscuit. They were famous for playing at her wedding to Jools - scarlett's bass player.....aaaahhh

Sarah has had a few guitar lessons but whilst she can practice vocals in the car......

She has shedloads of gear, including:

A big red suitcase full of stuff
Gorgeous Dean twin humbucker electric guitar
AKG wireless mic
Yamaha 600w PA
Carlsboro floor monitors
Digitech vocal harmony processor
LD IEMs
